Very big room with amazing view on mountain, very close to city with a bus or a car. Amazing staff and there is bowling alley also at the site
Very friendly staff; good food and breakfast buffet; lovely, shady garden. Don't expect rooms like in big city hotels - no hair dryer in bathroom, etc. This is more like a pension (inn); practical, clean spacious. My room had an amazing view of the Untersberg - a great view to wake up to!! Very close to Salzburg city and attractions in the area.
This well maintained family business is taken very serious when it comes of comfort and cleanliness. We had a large apartment with an exceptional mountains view. You can also find a very good restaurant at the site with fresh local dishes and drinks. The options for breakfast were enough for active people. All in all, we had a pleasant stay at Gasthof Mostwastl and will probably book again when will visit Salzburg.

Interior is nicely renovated. It is a very very clean hotel to stay in. Very friendly attitude and excellent service. The rooms are fully equipped and very comfortable (mattress and armchairs are comfortable, room is quite big, hairdryer and freeze included, excellent wifi connection), The menu in the restaurant has a great variety and the food was very well cooked. Value for money. Fully recommended.
The service was not in its best. We have been waiting for the menu very long until ask about it by ourselves. Food is good. Atmosphere is very Austrian and authentic. Interior design is classic Austrian style. Enjoy your lunch and dinner.
Fast and friendly service even on crowded days. Sitting outside in the shade of the very old trees is purely magic when it’s warm in the evening and the food is simply enjoyable. Probably the best place for typical Austrian food and especially desserts I have ever been to.
